Things are getting even uglier in Turkey

The police have now escalated the use of violence tremendously, and are attacking protesters with no mercy. I've been following recent events mostly through Lucas Thorpe's Facebook page (a philosopher working in Istanbul). Most of his updates are public, so even those without a Facebook account can see them.
