I completely misnamed a paper (written with Jason Megill) after this song:

It was actually Dan Farrell who turned me on to Iris Dement.

He was in the process of saving a dog's life at exactly the moment the above song  appeared (glitch-like and probably only that one time) on Clear Channel's play-list.

What were the chances? I don't know.

Sometimes incongruity can save your life. The dog would tell you as much if he could. So would I.
