Yesterday I blogged about the forthcoming Dungeons and Dragons and Philosophy volume edited by myself and Mark Silcox. I should note that Blackwell is also doing one (CFP HERE). It's interesting to compare the paper topics in the Blackwell CFP with the paper topics in me and Silcox's book.
I want to make some kind of extended joke personifying each book as role playing characters in combat and my book has a plus seven vorpal sword or something like that. But I'll refrain.
Full disclosure: Mark and I'd originally pitched our book to Blackwell and were rejected on grounds of marketability of the topic. Robichaud's CFP came out after Open Court put me and Mark's book as forthcoming on their website, which I conjecture caused the marketing people at Blackwell to change their minds about the topic.
