Friday political music selection - alienation and escape

This is turning into fun for me because everyone is doing my work for me.  So once again, I'll throw out a few obvious choices on a theme that has a long deep tradition and leave it up to the rest of you to add more.

Here's a rather rare explicitly political song from James McMurtry

I wanted to include Marc Cohn's "Saving The Best For Last" but couldn't find it online - except for a version with some random guy in a t-shirt doing a bad version while his kid runs through the room.  So despite the fact that this would nicely link up to last week, I'll just suggest you find it on itunes and give it a listen.  

And with Hazel I'm off to department meetings. (With any luck I won't come out of it as our next department chair.)
