Badiou is a formidable person to start up (I'm kicking myself for not having sat in on Protevi's course, and I would have were it not for all of the time-killing coffee spoon minutiae in my first semester as Director of philosophy), but this book looks really, really fascinating to me. It's just out in English, but I have no idea when a French version was written.
There are deep, deep connections between the work of Badiou's excellent student Quentin Meillassoux and some of the deepest ideas Graham Priest (e.g. in Beyond the Limits of Thought), but from the Amazon blurb, of Badiou on Wittgenstein I think there are some from Badiou as well. Anyhow, anyone who has read this or who knows a good web discussion of the book, please let us know!
