Brian Leiter reports that Klaus Corcilius will be moving From Hamburg to Berkeley (with tenure). He is described as a specialist in "Ancient Philosophy"; given that he is one of the great Aristotle scholars of our time, that seems fair. But it is worth pointing out that Corcilius has also written quite importantly on, for example, Hobbes, as well as the historiography of the practical syllogism (in recent times). This is just to say, there are specialists and then there are specialists!
