 Tunisian rapper Hamada Ben Amor, aka El Général, went to prison for this song. He describes his three days of police interrogation as having lasted three years. The lyrics of the song that got him disappeared are even more haunting when you know that the police really did do what they predict. But while Ben Amor was going out of his mind strapped to a chair, his song was becoming a banner of human liberation in Tunisa, Egypt, and beyond. And now Ben Amor and so many others are out of prison while President Ben Ali is out of Tunisa.
