From a recent review: "And to impose a Deleuzean notion of univocity and immanence on Heidegger is an attempt to do violence to Heidegger's own project." Why should fair-play be the ruling norm in engaging with Heidegger, given that this kind of scholarly "violence" (not my preferred term, alas, [I am not referring to his, shall we say, extra-curricular activities]) was perfected by him?
